Linda Ruiz-Lozito The primal urge to create art has been a constant thread in my life. I have continued to create art throughout my life, even with other demands such as my children and family.
I like my work have a feeling of playful enthusiasm. The life force in nature is inspiring. In my art I wish to convey my appreciation for the beauty and the energy found in nature. The element of color has been my focus in the creation of my art. Color has energy, emotion and creates a mood.
My favorite mediums are Soft Pastels and Oil Colors. I love the immediacy of the pastels. I love oils, the buttery consistency and intense unlimited colors.

BACKGROUND
For over 25 years I have also worked as a graphic artist. This background gives me the knowledge to make high resolution scans and color correct my own artwork to produce quality prints. I use professional equipment and use industry standard software such as Adobe Photoshop.
